Bossier Schools Hosts 3rd Annual Student Showcase
The skies may have, at times, been cloudy and temperatures unseasonably cool, but the weather did not put a damper on the display of student talent at the 3rd annual Bossier Schools Showcase held Saturday, April 22 at the Louisiana Boardwalk.
Throughout the day, scores of Bossier Parish students took stage before family, friends and passersby to demonstrate their individual talents as well as showcase the many programs offered at their respective schools.
There were robotics and Destination Imagination demonstrations, tumbling and Bucket Brigade performances, Spanish song and dances, choirs, cheerleaders, bands and more. Cypress Nature Study Center even did a little show and tell.
Bossier Schools’ Talented Arts Program was also well represented by a number of students that sang, played music and delivered monologues. Then, there was the kindergarten performance “Dance Like Your Daddy” at the very end that had the crowd cheering.
The wide array of student talent was awesome and made for an entertaining day for everyone that stopped by.
