Professional Learning Communities

Upcoming Professional Development Training for Effective Implementation of PLCs

Here in Bossier Parish, schools will be provided with numerous learning opportunities to support the district-wide implementation of effective PLCs starting this Spring 2017. Principal and Solution Tree Presenter, Brandon Jones, will be conducting his follow-up PLC sessions with the schools and district on Thursday, January 26, and Friday, January 27, 2017.  These sessions represent a continuation of professional development for Bossier Parish that previously took place during the month of July 2016. The dates and times of the follow-up training sessions have been sent to principals. Additionally, starting in March 2017, Mr. Jones and Solution Tree PLC Presenter and Author, W. Richard Smith, will kick-off the training for Bossier Parish Schools first ever Professional Learning Communities Academy. More information regarding this major event will follow soon.
